imager.residual - Function

2.3.1 Calculate the residual image with respect to current model and component list
Description

Calculate the residuals corresponding to the model and componentlist. Note that the model visibilities are updated.

Arguments


Inputs
model	Names of input models
	allowed:	stringArray
	Default:
complist	Name of component list
	allowed:	string
	Default:
image	Names of output residual images
	allowed:	stringArray
	Default:
async	Run asynchronously in the background
	allowed:	bool
	Default:	false

Returns
bool

Example

- im.residual(model=’3C273XC1.clean’, complist=’3C273XC1.cl’,
image=’3C273XC1.clean.residual’)
