3.2.1 return the column data type
Description

A column may contain various data types. This tool function returns the type of the column as a string.

columnname	Name of column
	allowed:	string
	Default:

Returns
string

Example

  tb.open("tcal")
  tb.coldatatype("StartTime")
# double
  tb.open("tcal")
  tb.coldatatype("Gain")
# complex
