msmetadata.nsources - Function

1.3.2 Get the number of unique values from the SOURCE_ID column in the SOURCE table.


Description

Get the number of unique values from the SOURCE_ID column in the SOURCE table. The number of rows in the SOURCE table may be greater than this value.

Arguments

Returns
int

Example

 
    msmd.open("my.ms")  
    number_of_unique_source_ids = msmd.nsources()  
    msmd.done()
