7.1.1 Running the CASA viewer outside casapy

casaviewer is the name of the stand-alone viewer application that is available with a CASA installation. From the operating system prompt, the following commands are equivalent to the casapy task commands given in the previous Section:

  casaviewer &  
 
  casaviewer ms_filename &  
 
  casaviewer image_filename &  
 
  casaviewer restore_filename &  
 
  casaviewer image_filename contour &  
 
  casaviewer ’"image_filename"^2’ lel &
