Generate statistics over a line region.

Synopsis
stat(scanrec, range, units)

Description

Arguments

scanrec		an SDRecord
		Allowed:	boolean
		Default:	currently displayed
range		the range over which the statistics will be generated
		Allowed:	string
		Default:	no default
units		the units used for the range
		Allowed:	string
		Default:	'channels'

Returns
A record of the results (peak,area,min,rms,scan,centroid,vpeak)
