Perform a polynomial baseline fit to spectrum in globalscan1


Synopsis
baseline()


Description
This function will use the values of nfit and nregion to fit and subtract a polynomial function from the spectrum in globalscan1. The result is then stored in the globalscan1 spectrum. This operation can also be acheived using d.base with the action set to 'subtract'.



Returns
Boolean


Example
- d.nfit(2)
- d.setregion()
Use the left button to set location, right button to exit
region =  [23 152 300 644 807 1009] 
- d.bshape()
- d.baseline()
