Obtain the peak amplitude, half-width and center in the displayed spectrum


Synopsis
peak(quiet)


Description
This function measures the peak amplitude and associated half-width and line center for the globalscan1 spectrum. If quiet=T that results are stored in internal variables appropriate for use with the gaussian fitter. If quiet=F (default) the values are displayed to the screen.



Arguments

quiet   Display the output to command window
    Allowed: boolean
    Default: F
