Description
This function is used to execute a series of plot commands in this plotter. It
is used internally (e.g. by refresh), but it can also be of use to
programmers. For example, you could keep external ``decorations'' in a list,
and show or don't show them by calling
play.
The format of the commands is that it is either a displaylist from a pgplotwidget, or it is a record, each field of which is a plot command of the
form, e.g.:
[_function='line', xpts=1:10, ypts=1:10]
