Explicitly register a colormap on the Viewerdisplaypanel tool


Synopsis
registercolormap(map)


Arguments

map name of colormap to register
Allowed: string


Returns
T


Description

If the given colormap name is valid, then it will be explicitly registered on this Viewerdisplaypanel tool. The result of this will be a redistribution of the available color cells to the registered colormaps. A change will only be noticed if previously the named colormap was not registered on this Viewerdisplaypanel tool.

This function is generally reserved for internal use; careless use of it could cause the Viewer tool or AIPS++ to fail.
