Zoom by a given factor


Synopsis
zoom(xfac, yfac)


Arguments

xfac scale factor in X direction
Allowed: float
Default: 2.0
yfac scale factor in Y direction
Allowed: unset or float
Default: unset


Returns
T


Description

If yfac=unset, then yfac is forced to be identical to xfac. This function zooms in by the specified amount in each direction, centred on the centre of the current viewable area. For scale factors greater than one, the view is magnified, and for less than one, the view is demagnified. There will be some interplay between the aspect option of Viewerdisplaydata toolsand the zoom setting.
