copy items from clipboard to the drawlist


Synopsis
paste()


Description
Paste is used to copy items from the clipboard to the drawlist. At present all items from the clipboard are copied to the end of the drawlist. We should probably at least allow pasting into the middle of the draw list.



Returns
the length of the drawlist or fail
