Version 1.9 Build 1488 |
|
The Measurement Set contains two columns, FLAG_ROW and FLAG that are used to denote flagging of data. On starting msplot with the argument edit=T, these columns are saved to another table, the flag column table, from which they may be restored as required. As msplot proceeds, the flag columns in the measurement set are modified whenever the Apply button is pressed. Thus on exit from msplot, if one wishes to discard the edits, these columns must be copied back from the temporary flag column table. The user is asked whether this is to be done whenever msplot exits (or when AIPS++ is exited).
If the edits are to be discarded, the new flag columns are stored in the flag column table, from where they may be applied using the function msplotapplyflags.
Note that non-interactive flagging is possible using the flagger tool.
