Synopsis
norm(v, a)


Arguments

v in value
    Allowed: angle quantity or string
a in lower interval boundary
    Allowed: numeric
    Default: -0.5


Returns
quantity


Description
norm normalise angles in interval of 2$ \pi$ radians. The default interval is from -0.5 to +0.5 of a full interval (i.e. from -180 to +180 degrees). The lower end of the interval can be set as a fraction of 2$ \pi$



Example
- dq.norm('713deg')			#default normalisation
[value=-7, unit=deg] 
- dq.norm('713deg', -2.5) 		# normalise to interval -900 - -540 deg
[value=-727, unit=deg]
