vlafiller.stop - Function

Package nrao
Module vla
Tool vlafiller

Stop the filling process

Synopsis
stop()

Description

The stop function will signal the filler process to stop immediately after reading the next record. This is the earliest point at which the filling process can sensibly be halted and it is quite likely that the filling process will be stopped midway through a scan. Using this function, and then shutting down the filler process, using the done function, should result in a perfectly valid but truncated measurement set.

Returns
T or fail

Example
See the example for the vlafiller constructor.
