Reopen and resync with the scan log


Synopsis
update(async)


Arguments

async   Run this command asyncronously
    Allowed: boolean
    Default: F


Returns
boolean


Description
This should be called whenever the scan log FITS file has changed so that the filler can know about all of the data on disk. When run asyncronously, this function returns before the update has completed. Watch the log in that case to see the progress of the update.
