Choose the type of vanVleck correction for spectrometer data.


Synopsis
setvv(vv)


Arguments

vv   Valid types are ``schwab'', ``old'', ``none'', and ``default''
    Allowed: string


Returns
boolean


Description
The type of vanVleck correction is only relevent to data from the spectrometer. The ``schwab'' correction is an implementation of a general solution developed by Fred Schwab. The ``old'' correction is the original vanVleck correction based on code from Arecibo. If ``none'' is selected, no vanVleck correction will be done. The current default, if this is not set, is ``Schwab''. If the vv argument value is unrecognized, the return value will be F (false) and the default type will be used. This argument is case insensitive.
