Set the flag which controls whether the calibration columns are compressed.


Synopsis
setcompresscalcols(compresscalcols)


Arguments

compresscalcols   When true, the calibration columns are compressed.
    Allowed: boolean
    Default: T


Returns
boolean


Description
In order to control data bloat, it is desirable to compress the calibration columns (e.g. COMPRESSED_DATA). The compression is done independently for each row. This only applies to spectral line data (DCR and Holography data are never compressed). When this flag is true, these columns are compressed.
