Set a specific bias to use during the van Vleck correction.


Synopsis
setdcbias(dcbias)


Arguments

dcbias   This value is used as the bias.
    Allowed: double
    Default: 0.0


Returns
boolean


Description
There is often a non-zero bias in the ACS (spectrometer) sampler levels. If the bias is thought to be known based on other scans, then it can be set here to a specific value. This is the actual bias in the samplers, and not simply the observed asymptote in the raw lags. If uselag is True, then this value is ignored in favor of the derived dcbias.
