Description
Perform a test of primary processing. The dataset used is an
observation of 3C273 at 8GHz using the C-configuration of the VLA. It
is part of the
AIPS++ distribution.
The test does the following:
- The uvfits file that is to be read in is
in a standard place in the AIPS++ code source area.
- The MeasurementSet is read from the uvfits file.
- A default calibration is applied
- The data are weighted using the Briggs algorithm.
- One field is cleaned, using the mf algorithm and the primary
beam is applied both during the subtraction of components (the
major cycle) and in estimating the residuals.
