details for the IERS data handling - user



Description
The variables in this group describe non-standard operation of the use of the IERS Earth Orientation parameters. Default lookup for directories is
  - ./name
  - ./data/name
  - $AIPSHOME/data/ephemerides/name ($AIPSHOME is normally ~/aips++)
  - $AIPSROOT/data/ephemerides/name ($AIPSROOT is first field of $AIPSPATH)
  - $AIPSHOME/data/geodetic/name
  - $AIPSROOT/data/geodetic/name
  and at least till 1 Jan 2001:
  - $AIPSHOME/data/aips/Measures/name
  - $AIPSROOT/data/aips/Measures/name
  - $AIPSHOME/code/trial/apps/measures
  - $AIPSROOT/code/trial/apps/measures


Example
measures.ierspredict.directory:    ~/aips++
Use the IERS prediction tables from the indicated directory



Aipsrc Variables

measures.ierseop97.directory   directory for the IERSeop97 table
    Allowed: valid directory
    Default: see description
measures.ierspredict.directory   directory for the IERSpredict table
    Allowed: valid directory
    Default: see description
measures.tai_utc.directory   directory for the TAI_UTC leap second table
    Allowed: valid directory
    Default: see description
measures.measiers.b_notable   do not use the IERSeop97 or IERSpredict tables
    Allowed: true or false
    Default: false
measures.measiers.b_forcepredict   use always the IERSpredict table
    Allowed: true or false
    Default: false
measures.measiers.d_predicttime   use always the IERSpredict table if coordinate conversion time is less than given number of days ago
    Allowed: number of days
    Default: 5
