Run the AIPS++ test programs and mail the results to the aips2-inhale email exploder with a summary to aips2-workers.

Synopsis

runtests

Description

runtests runs the AIPS++ test programs and mails the results to the aips2-inhale exploder and also sends a summary to aips2-workers. It invokes the runtests target described in section §12.2 which stores its results in the $BINTESTD directory (§1.2).

Options

None.

Notes

• The reported number of test program failures refers to the aips package only.

• Do not confuse the runtests utility with the runtests diagnostic makefile target (see §12.2).

0: success
1: initialization error

Examples

The command

   runtests

would invoke the test programs and mail the results to the various exploders.
